Islands of Rio
The Cagarras Archipelago is located in the Atlantic Ocean, off the city of Rio de Janeiro and can be seen from Copacabana Beach. To reach our destination we depart from Guanabara Bay towards the ocean. At the exit of Guanabara Bay we will see the forts São José, Laje and Santa Cruz and in the course of approximately 90 minutes we will pass by Vermelha, Leme, Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. A different look at the Marvelous City and the Serra do Mar. When we get to Cagarras we will stop where we can dive and take special photos. The Natural Monument of the Cagarras Islands Archipelago was created in 2010 with the goal of being a conservation and integral protection unit. In its clean waters we find a huge variety of fish, crustaceans, mollusks, algae, as well as constant visits of turtles, dolphins and even whales.
The tour is approximately 5 hours long, leaving at 10am.
In AUGUST and SEPTEMBER we offer special low season prices.
* On weekends an extra boarding fee of R$ 30,00 per person (not included in the tour prices) is charged.
